Your Google profile, sorted.
Your reviews, looked after.
StarRoo keeps an eye on your Google Business Profile, asks every customer for a review the same fair way, and replies to every review in your voice, so you can get back to the coffee machine, the clippers or the colour bowl.
Three jobs, done properly
The fiddly online stuff you never quite get round to.
Profile guard
Anyone can suggest edits to your Google listing, such as new hours, a different phone number or even "permanently closed". We watch for unwanted public edits and revert them within Google's 4-day window, before customers turn up to a locked door.
Fair review asks
A QR/NFC counter card asks every customer for a Google review the same way. Optional upgrade: BCC us on your booking confirmations and we'll send a friendly follow-up. No star-gating, no filtering, ever.
Replies in your voice
Every review gets a reply that sounds like you. 4–5 star replies post automatically. For 3 stars or below, we text you a draft for one-tap approval or a quick edit.
How it works
Set up over a cuppa. About 10 minutes.
- Connect your Google Business Profile. Sign in with Google and give StarRoo manager access. You can remove it any time.
- Tell us how you talk. Answer a few quick questions (or paste some past replies) so our replies sound like you, not a robot.
- Pop the card on the counter. We post you a QR/NFC review card. Optionally, BCC us on booking confirmations.
- Get on with your day. We guard your listing and reply to reviews. You only hear from us when a reply needs your OK.

FAQ
Why do you ask every customer for a review? Why not just the happy ones?
Because only asking happy customers ("review gating" or "star-gating") breaks Google's review policies and can mislead consumers under the Australian Consumer Law. The ACCC has taken action over businesses filtering out negative reviews. Asking everyone the same way is fairer, it's allowed, and honest reviews are what customers trust anyway. We help you reply well to the not-so-great ones.
What's a "suggested edit" and why does it matter?
Anyone on Google Maps can suggest changes to your listing. Google sometimes accepts them automatically, which is how businesses wake up to the wrong hours or a "closed" label. We spot these and revert unwanted ones quickly, within Google's 4-day window.
Will the replies really sound like me?
That's the idea. We learn from your answers and past replies. Anything 3 stars or below comes to you by text first, so nothing touchy goes out without your OK.
Do you write fake reviews or offer incentives?
No. We never write reviews, and we don't offer discounts or freebies for reviews. Both breach Google policy and Australian consumer law.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. A$49/month, first month free, cancel any time.
Can I disconnect StarRoo from Google?
Yes, any time, from your Google Business Profile's managers list or from your StarRoo account.
